In the context of the Universal Expo taking place in Dubai, during the Water Week, the Executive Manager of the Investment promotion Agency “Rio Negro Invierte”, Gonzalo Medina Cabrera, presented the Strategic Plan for the production of Green Hydrogen in Rio Negro, the only province in Argentina with a multinational investment already committed in the province.

The Governor, Arabela Carreras, and the country´s Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Claudio Moroni, entered into two cooperation and training agreements within the context of the implementation of the plan to obtain Green Hydrogen in Río Negro.

Roxana Fernandez, legislator, highlighted the improvements that Rio Negro makes in the project to produce Green Hydrogen, especially enhancing the Free Trade Zone in Sierra Grande.

The Spatial Data Infrastructure of Río Negro (IDERN, in spanish), part of the State Secretariat of Planning, began training in technology and the use of computer tools for the management and processing of geo-referenced information. The training is financed by the Federal Investment Council.

Within the context of the series of talks organized by the State Secretariat of Planning on the development and production of Green Hydrogen in the province, on April 1, the Executive Manager Director of the Investment promotion Agency “Rio Negro Invierte”, Gonzalo Medina Cabrera, will give a presentation about the comparative advantages of the Free Trade Zone in Sierra Grande.

Twenty-six selected young people from different geographical areas of the province will be supported by the State Secretariat of Planning, which will act as a coordinator between the participants and the Federal Investment Council during the course.

In order to continue working on the Base Plan for the Territorial Urban Development of the Punta Colorada area, the well-known Doctor in Physics and hydrogen specialist, Juan Carlos Bolcich, gave a public presentation in Valcheta and Sierra Grande on topics related to renewable energies.

The Secretary of State for Planning, Daniel Sanguinetti, affirmed that, as announced by the Governor, Arabela Carreras, during her speech at the beginning of the new sessions, the committee that analyzes the private initiative from the provincial State met for the first time.

Jorge Stopiello, the Minister of Labor of Río Negro, met this Wednesday, 23 in his office the Secretary of Strategic Development of the State Secretariat of Planning, Mercedes Ibero, with whom he talked about the projects in common between both entities, especially those related to Green Hydrogen.
