The event took place on Monday 21 in Viedma, with the attendance of the Superintendent of Labor Risks, Enrique Cossio, the Secretary of Organization of Union Affairs of UOCRA, Rubén Pronotti, and workers of the union.

One of the agreements was between the Province, the National Government and the Superintendence of Labor, for the development of training activities on the risk system and prevention of work accidents in the production process of green hydrogen.

On the other hand, the National Government, Río Negro and Fundación UOCRA, signed a technical cooperation and training agreement, which through the provincial program “RN Trabajo + Futuro”, will have the purpose of designing, implementing and evaluating programs and tools for professional training and labor specialization.

"This particular project is not only of interest to the province but also to the National Government because it includes exactly what we are going to constantly need: people with adequate skills to fill the jobs. For the Ministry of Labor, professional training becomes a primary objective," emphasized Moroni.

Governor Carreras emphasized that "we are taking another step forward for the benefit of this project that we have been discussing for two years; we have made general training opportunities to start with the training we need to have, not only to participate in the job opportunities that will be generated here, but also to contribute to the generation of a productive chain that today is not fully defined”.

"That is why we have been working from Education in advance with the technical courses in renewable energies, also providing in Sierra Grande an educational center that includes all levels. Likewise, we are moving forward with the Universities to strengthen the scientific and technological areas", said the Governor.

Also, the Minister of Labor, Jorge Stopiello stated that: "We are very excited, because it was a project that we had to develop in a short period of time. We invited the appropriate institutions to execute this agreement, not only for pedagogical assistance but also for financial assistance, which will make it feasible. In the short term, in the four sites that we have chosen, in San Antonio Oeste, Sierra Grande, Los Menucos and Viedma, we are going to start the first training courses. We have the aim that, in a short time, the Province of Río Negro will have full employment".

"This is a possibility for all our colleagues, it generates great expectations for us since it is a mega work that this province is going to have and that, due to the new technologies, permanent learning is required", analyzed Pronotti.

In addition, Cossio said: "I would like to congratulate this administration and its team for the effort they have been making to succeed in this tremendous and huge challenge that not only has a provincial but also a national scope. It is a very important step forward for the country that is why we are at your disposal to work together as we have been doing".
