The event will start next Thursday, May 18 and Governor Arabela Carreras will chair the opening together with the president of the Green Hydrogen Organization (GH2), Malcolm Turnbull.
During two days, the province will receive in the Andean city, leaders, experts, representatives of governments from different continents and managers related to the sector.
Different panels will address the major advances in the industry worldwide, Latin America as a scenario of opportunities to receive more and new investments, and the projects proposed in the region and the rest of the world.
There will also be different opportunities for exchange and discussion that will allow knowing the vision of the sector to promote the production of green hydrogen on a large scale; as well as the present plans and future opportunities and challenges to be solved.
Some of the main speakers include the Director of Energy Policy for the European Union Commission, Cristina Lobillo Borrero; the Minister of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of the Nation, Daniel Filmus. The Secretary of Energy of Argentina, Flavia Royón; ambassadors, companies such as YPF, Shell, Toyota, Banco Patagonia, CAF and others; scientists, specialists and representatives of institutions and organizations related to energy and climate change mitigation, among others.
The worldwide event will be held in three places: the Llao Llao Hotel, where the opening ceremony will be held and international and local specialists in the field will be received; the Camping Musical de Bariloche, where different topics will be developed simultaneously. And the facilities of the BEC (Bariloche Events and Conventions), where there will be a forum open to civil society with master classes.
Working towards changing the world's energy matrix is a joint responsibility and it is therefore imperative that governments and the private sector work together to mitigate the impact of climate change. This event will promote the exchange; analyze challenges and value opportunities to promote the development of green hydrogen, a key player for a sustainable future.
