During the event, pants, shirt, jacket, helmets, gloves and boots were delivered to those who are being trained in construction and concrete courses, belonging to the Más Futuro program.
The proposal was carried out within the framework of an agreement signed together with the National Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security and UOCRA to strengthen capacities for access to employment, by virtue of the professional training policy carried out by the Government throughout the provincial territory through the Más Futuro Program.
Governor Carreras was happy to join the community of San Antonio Oeste during the event, and mentioned that "they are convinced that the way to get ahead is by working, this is the great opportunity to show the country how we should get ahead. In order to face the crisis, the best thing to do is to train and be prepared to take advantage of the opportunities and that is why we said that here, what we have to do is to strengthen work".
"To strengthen work in order to be able to gradually become independent from contributions, benefits, plans, which are tools for a moment, necessary to accompany the families that suffer the most from the crisis, but that clearly must have a better perspective, and the best perspective is through work", added Carreras.
Regarding the delivery, Minister Stopiello explained that "we are completing the four branches we had planned for Sierra Grande, San Antonio Oeste, Viedma and Los Menucos. We have started up something that seemed to be something complex and difficult to achieve at this moment some time ago".
"Since this program started its first day, we are already around 1,000 workers who have undergone different training courses, and we have the rest of the year to complete several more courses and start again next year", he added.
The workshops include a curricular development basically focused on practice, and for this reason work clothes were given to all participants.
Today more than 700 men and women from Rio Negro have been trained through the Rio Negro Más Futuro program with a view to the Green Hydrogen Strategic Plan.
The Mayor of San Antonio Oeste, Adrián Casadei, highlighted the collaborative work that has been carried out: "I want to congratulate all those who have worked together because we can achieve things like this training, which will be beneficial to get the job that dignifies each one of us".
On the other hand, the General Secretary of UOCRA, Atlantic Area, Damián Miler, said that "we are getting used to take the opportunities that we are giving to the construction workers. We are very proud to be able to share this moment, and that they have chosen this activity as part of the construction of their future".
The Governor was also together with the Head of the Viedma Territorial Agency of the National Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Fernando Fuentes, the General Secretary of UOCRA San Antonio Oeste, Eduardo Cayunao; the Secretary of Employment and Training of the Ministry of Labor, Francisco Pereda, the delegate of Labor of San Antonio Oeste, Facundo Lasalle; and other provincial and municipal authorities.
