During the meeting, Carreras talked with the technicians about the origins and history of the green hydrogen production project in the province, highlighting that the initiative has been more than ten years since its beginning.
In addition, the Governor and the technological representatives of the company analyzed different aspects related to the production technology, the science applied to this initiative, while Carreras highlighted the climatic advantages that Rio Negro has for this initiative, such as the possibility of wind energy generation.
In the meeting, they discussed details regarding the technological advances of the project in Rio Negro, and worked on the strategic plan for Green Hydrogen in Rio Negro.
Carreras emphasized that this is a strategic project for the province, and detailed different actions that are being developed in the province to support the initiative, including job training for future employees and the work done with the community through the "Hydrogen Thursdays".

Michael Dolan, Executive Manager of Technology of Fortescue Future Industries, thanked the Government for its support to the company's hydrogen project and the permanent cooperation with the different actions of the investment company.
